What's your EDC for...

^too many things on keychain haha

I have 2 keys and 1 loop. Keys bother me.

Yes, I know. You should see it when I'm at work some times. Two or three other vehicle keys go on to that one, yikes! Wish i could simplify, but alas no...

At my 9-5 I've got my benchmade 530.

Camping/hiking, I keep either my ka-bar or my bm 162 on my belt and my Kershaw Blur in my pocket.

The rest of the time, I switch between my cold steel recon 1, bm 530, Kershaw blur or sog pentagon elite, depending on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.

I've had my eye on a fixed grippy as well for a few years. I believe it's discontinued now. I love my saddleback wallet. Great customer service, willing to go above and beyond. And the products are awesome.

I am outdoors A LOT because I have many interests out there, from hard core metal detecting, to mushroom picking, sometimes camping etc. Many times I am not all that far from town or other country homes. It would be in appropriate of me to be seen running around with a machete or a large fixed blade knife hanging off my belt. I compromise and use common sense so as not to unecessarily alarm anyone. So a folder in a hip pack or Izula 2 in pocket etc. is my usual norm. We all have to live with each other and a little ethical behaviour, or consideration for others out there, is the social lubricant that makes life more pleasant for all. You can also believe that I take any opportunity available to me to strap on some steel or carry an axe\hatchet when in a more isolated location. It is in my DNA as much as my need to be outside.

sounds very sensible.

I guess i forgot to add when mountain biking i carry my way and phone, that is all. But kind of common sense as well :-) I do need to get a bike rack for my grand am so i can venture out farther around the state. I'll admit, if i see some odd ball with a large fixed blade or machete running around, it alarms me. Or some teenage kid playing with a cheap knife or something inappropriately, but the average person, older or not, i don't think twice. Especially if in hunting clothes. Kind of judgemental i know, but even as a fellow knife lover, i can't help but judge on appearance or history (jail, arrests, etc.)

I only recently got into knives. My edc has been a ZT 550 for the past week straight.
I keep a Kershaw EMT Funxion in my truck. iPhones for work and personal.

Fishing: Gerber Suspension multi tool and a Leatherman Skeletool CX,
iPhone for pics, and Daiwa for slaying tuna and yellowtail.

which daiwa? I fish freshwater mostly. a shimano chromarch on a st croix and an abu revo sx on a berkley lightening rod. both 50lb powerpro. I carry a salt I when saltwater fishing.
