My most frequent edc is a Vic Spirit multitool. I use it for the usual every day cutting tasks (packages, string, plastic ties, etc.) as well as fixing jammed printers, staplers, and other similar stuff at work. It has been getting a lot of use these days assembling toys and things for my one year old daughter too.
I find a multitool to be a more useful edc tool than a knife alone, due to it's versatility, although a dedicated blade is certainly superior for major cutting tasks.
When I'm not carrying the Spirit, I carry a SAK Outrider or a Spyderco Native. I also have a Utili-key or SAK Classic on my key chain. I' going to try edc-ing a new pocket-sized fixed blade with the multitool once the UPS guy brings it.
