What's your fantasy 110?

Satin finished D2 with cryogenic quench
Brass frame and bolsters -- file worked to match the 532's
Fossilized sea cow rib scales , no pins
Old style Custom 110 sheath
Something to work every day!

WOW such a big response.:D There are some fantastic fantasy 110's mentioned. Maybe Buck will add some more options based on the posts. Well we can always hope.:D

This is a great thread. I really enjoy seeing what people want. This has been fun.

Titanium frame and bolsters.
Ivory scales.
Spirograph damascus blade a la the Devin Thomas Sebs, with filework on the spine.

My Fantasy 110s:
Carbon steel blade
Nickel bolsters
Elk stag handles
A brown leather sheath

The second would be like the large folder the Cajun gangster "Losado" carried in the movie No Mercy:
5" carbon steel skinning blade
Brass bolsters
Walnut scales

Carbon steel would be a nice option also. I'd think a blade with a nice patina, brass and stag would really be nice.:D

I'm telling you,if you took a 110 and added a titanium frame and bolsters,a bg42 blade with thumb stud and topped it off with g-10 scales, you will have transformed a classic knife into a modern tactical style knife that could hold its own against anything on the market today.Thats my wish knife.Maybe one day Buck will offer these options.I hope they read this thread and get some ideas:)

#1 a thin titanium with thumb stud and pocket clip

#2(just for fun) N/S bolsters, curly osage orange handles with finger grooves, a high carbon drop point damascus blade, and pocket clip with thumb stud.....oh yeah how's about makin it good'n thin like one of them gerber folding sprtsmens eh?

Here's mine :)
Titanium Liners, High Weave Carbon Fiber, Stud and Clip
Sometimes you have to make your dreams come true with a little effort and persistance (Blade swapped from BG-42 to Titanium coated S30V)

110 blade hand-forged the old-fashioned way in Japan, clay heat treatment, with a very active hamon, signed by the smith

Was thinking just the other day that my fantasy 110 would be for Buck to put out a limited reissue of the 2 dot or other early model style with the slimmer profile, flat bolsters and maybe a 440C blade.

Silicon Bronze "bare head" bolster engraved with with Celtic Cross on the right side and a Valknot on the left side, a mirror polished DP S30V blade, and super fine Sambar Stag scales on both sides. :D

Wow! after posting I just realized what an ancient thread this is!!!

Nested titanium liners, smooth micarta handle scales (no rivets or bolsters), flat-ground VG-10 blade, thumb stud. Rayskin belt sheath.

A stainless Damascus blade,Rams horn scales,brass bolsters,and file work.Put that in a vertical,strapless,basket weaved,harness style sheath and I would indeed be a happy camper!Well, for awhile anyway.:D

I thought NS bolsters, flaming Koa, and teardrop Damascus would look great.
