So, what is your favorite bushcraft or survival knife and why. Give as many answers as you wan't, and throw in some pictures. I don't have any way to take pictures unfortunatly, but mine would be the bark river bravo 1 I just got. I have never been so impressed with a knife. Im actually going to stick to bark river for now because of how impressed I am. I also love the fallkniven f1, and while im sure its just as good as the bark river, it doesn't have the class or elegance the bark river has. I would also have to throw in my mora 760. No matter what other nice knives I have, you can't beat the utility that come from a very thin, razor sharp blade that weighs so little you dont even notice it when you wear it. What is your favorite knife.

Strange as it is my favorite one for outdoorsy/bushcrafty stuff in this blade length range was a mid 90's Cold Steel Voyager with 4" tanto blade. The fixed blades I liked for this stuff had blades under 4" or over 6".

esee 4 is a real sweet blade that can handle most woods tasks, the esee 6 is basically just a longer version with a better handle ( in my opinion). also look into the becker-bk2, have heard a lot of love for that one. also im a huge fan of the blind horse pathfinder knife

BK-2, Buck Nighthawk, SOG Field Pup, SOG X-42 Field knife, Buck Pak-lite, LMF II, Mora triflex, Ka-Bar D2 Impact Fighter, Fallkniven A-1, everything else I own is over 7" long.

Favorite would be my K9 Dingo... Most used, abused, sharpened, beat up, and loved would be my fallkniven F1.

These. Id add the Fallkniven F1

My most used is my RC-5, but the RC-4 and the Bravo 1 deserve honorable mention. My 5 has been a near constant companion since I got it. It rides in my GHB everyday, and it's on my hip whenever I go camping. I do like the lighter weight of the 4 and the Bravo, and as time goes on they'll see more woods use.

I have the RC4, RC5, Bravo 1, Mountain Man, Custom Highland Special, TOPS Mountain Lion, Ontario RD4, Afghan, and RD6 SIG.
Of those the most useful to me has been the RC4 and Bravo 1. They feel best on my belt. The Mountain Man is 5.5" but really just a fancy butcher knife. I have a new BRKT Custom Highland Special, it's a smallish knife, 8" overall, 4" blade. It's thick, .095", with not much height. I like the feel of it, but haven't used it, yet.
The others are heavy in comparison, most are 1/4" thick.
I also have a Fiddleback Nessmuk, with a 4" scandi grind blade. I love this knife, it might be my favorite.

My 11 Bravo from Ray Ennis. This knife has sliced, diced, cut, dug, chopped, beat, & "pryed" (I know), & not once did it fail to do what I was asking of it. I just received an ESEE-4, but have not had a chance to really take it out to do anything with it. Looks like I am going to win with either one of them though.
Be safe.

As much as they are reviled cold steel makes a decent survival knife at a low price and so does mora, but they arent that sturdy. if you want as low as you cna reasonably go those would probably be your go too options.

At the sweet spot between price and performance I think ESEE has you pretty much covered no matter what type of knife you favor, just good no non-sense survival/outdoors knives at a great price.

Good simple tough steel, with simple tough ergonomic micarta handles, its got the right heat treat to make the most of the steel and the coating can take a beating.

Now if you want to take it to the next level I think my favorite knife in that blade range (i like a slighly bigger blade 7-8) would be the dozier wilderness knife, what a perfect design, i like it so much i got 2 of them.

Dozier had the best heat treat on D2 and his ergos are amazing, All in all i think the dozier wilderness knife is a work of art, throw in his excellent kydex sheath and you got a knife system that cant really be beat (or at least by any large margin) at any price point.

BK-2 for sure - did you say pictures? Okeydoke!

My custom (not custom produced, i put a lot of work into the design/measurements to make sure it fit me perfectly, but John executed the idea excellently, get a knife from him and you'll know what i mean!) JK Seraphim. 4" 01 blade, 5" handle measured for my hand (even the finger hump in the front).
