That size range includes my favorite blade size in the 4-5 inch range. Can't really pick out a favorite, but a few stand out.
Fallkniven F1 nice compact tremendously functional with a far better handle than I first thught.
BRKT made Scagel hunter this knife is not only lovely but cuts like a dream.
My GL Drew 5" bladed camp knife still one of my most used knives.
My new ZT 0121 which is winning out as my new EDC favorite. While a little unconventional in design and appearance. It is a fantastic performer and very compact.
I have several others as well. One thing I've come to realise is that I don't like choils. They hang up on work and get caught on hides etc. None of my favorites have choils.
