What's your favorite Air Gun?

i have a nice GAMO shadow 1000, that i bought for myself last year with some x-mas gift cards... this thing is a rocket... it's easily capable of taking down most small game... which it has done so quite a few times...:D

I've got a 1377, play around with it all the time. Even gotten a few birds with it.

Have an older Benjamin Sheridan in .20, that is fun to shoot.

Ha I got it!!!!!!!!

awesome!

The RB grips mods for Sierra's 1377 are in, I'll get photos up as soon as I'm done with the kiddos!

Here is a picture of that old Crossman 140 I mentioned earlier. It has never needed any repairs in the 40 years I`ve had it, and still shoots great. And for you younger guys out there, it even has a wooden stock, no plastic!

So, how quiet is that whisper?

Sorry I must have missed this question.

The whisper is quiet really quiet using reg lead pellets. All you really hear is the spring recoil.

Gamo sells those PBA high velocity pellets, which when shot sound like a .22 cal Long Rifle! They sell those pellets for $10 per box of 100 and IMO they suck:thumbdn: They fly high and I could barely get grouping with in 5"

The Gamo shoots hard and fast at around 1000fps with lead. It is more accurate with heavy pellets.

The stock trigger was a long pull and even after adjustment still wasn't as tight as I like it. I installed a new trigger from Charlie da Tuna and it is hair:thumbup:

I am loving this rifle.

I've been sort of half heartedly looking around the net for one, if I find one at some point I may grab it- looks like one of the more powerful old .22 pumps

My son, Leif, age 5.5 years.

He got a daisy 105 for xmas, and it's HIS favorite gun! The 760 i cut down for him he still can't shoot solo, but with the 105, today, we took him out to the bypass and set him up with soda cans and a target and he did the whole process by himself.

Still stock 10.25 inch .177 caliber barrel, piston and valve mods are on the way, along with (she hasn't deiced yet) a 12 inch .177 barrel or a conversion to a 14 nch .22 barrel. should get 680 fps in .177 or about 600 fps in .22 with 10-12 pumps after the piston and valve work.

Nice satin finish breech with integral scope mounts, and a low profile 2-7 x 20mm BSA scope.

And this one really has my heart, a glorious ~650 fps .22 caliber multipump from 1926.

Is that wood from RB Grips? It looks great. I've been trying hard to decide whether to get a 2250 or a 1377.

They're like the AR15 platform of the air rifle world, with tons of custom stuff to build a pistol/rifle however you want.

And the entry price is great.

That 101 sure does shoot well. Popping soup cans at 40 yardswith the tombstone sight is pretty cool, too.

Wulfrhunting- Those are RB grips, pretty sweet workmanship for a cottage factory. It's a toss up, the CO2 guns generally give you better out of the box power- if the temperature is above 60 degrees! The 2260 can go straight from the box to hunting bunnies. The 1377 takes much more work to get the power up. you pretty much have to do a valve and piston job (or have it done) to get above 600fps in .177 or 500 fps in .22 (with a 14 inch barrel). But they shoot fine in 20 degree weather, and I was knocking down soup cans with mine at 40 yards yesterday, too :D (open sights)
