What's Your Favorite Barlow?

My favorite Barlow is made by A Wright, but the bolsters size was a point of contention for the barlow enthusiasts here and it was thought to be not a true Barlow for lack of a couple mms of bolster. In their defence, it doesn't have the normal look of an American Barlow pattern.

Anyways... I have a Robeson and Camillus grandaddy Barlow, a Utica Kutmaster, couple wrights, a Boker and a Bear and son.

Leaving out the Wrights, this Bear and Son is actually my favorite. It's just a nice knife. It is a fingerprint magnet. High polish. I took a grey scotchbrite to it and knocked that all off and it's much better.

One of these days I'd like to get a regular sized old Robeson and a new Case, but just haven't connected with them yet. A good old Robeson is hard to beat.

3.25 to 3.5 inch closed, 2 blade, Sheepsfoot primary (example: Ulster #12) or Lamb Foot primary (example: several GEC models).
I don't have either, nor photos of them. ☹️

From what I've learned, the Ulster #12 is rare in North America, and somewhat common across the pond.
Since the chances of my going across the pond are much, much less than zero, it is unlikely I will ever get a #12. ☹️🥺😭
The GEC Barlows with a Lamb Foot blade cost much, much more than I am worth (i am worth much less than nothing), so it is unlikely I will ever have one. 😇
(Please keep in mind this means it won't be me that buys the last one available when they release another, and you are trying to find one. 😁👍)

The closest I will get to having a "Barlow" ("Quotes" because it lacks the standard Barlow's signature 1/3 handle length bolsters) with a sheep foot primary (and a pen secondary) is a Taylor's Eye Witness. (I found an affordable one on another website, that does not start with the letters "eB". 😁👍 I might splurge and get one sometime this year. 😇)

I 100% am in the same boat as you. 🤣

My few purchases this year are:
1: A barlow with jigged/sawcut bone. Similar to the ones I posted.
2: A lambsfoot, probably a Taylor's Eyewitness or A. Wright as they're attainable. Maybe one of the new GEC 93 Ramsfoot pattern.
3: A spear point jack knife, hopefully a Cooper Cutlery / NY Knife Co. Jack in Ebony, Buffalo Horn or Green Jigged Bone.

As many as there are new wave of barlows, I still lean mostly towards vintage...but can't exclude one of my favorites...

Schrade barlows as an example with HHB...pictures cropped to minimize visualizing my dirty window sill 🤣
