What's your favorite Becker knife you own?

Dang it, I knew I should not have looked at this thread.......now I'm wanting an 11, seeing it in his hand it's bigger than I thought.

I am a lady, and even for a lady I have small hands.

My apologies for the mistake, you do have good tastes when it comes to Friggin' Sweet knives!

Lol, no worries friend. Just wanted you to know that my hand size is not a good comparison for the 11. And thank you
I on the other hand have never been accused of being a lady, and I absolutely love the 11 in hand. It isn't a huge knife, but it's big enough to handle tasks much larger than it should be able to handle.

The king, of course...

Lately it's been the BK15 that James Terrio reground to be incredibly slicey. I used it last night to trim pork shoulder for Mexican pork tacos and it cruised through the fat like my Japanese blades at 15-17 degrees per side. Good stuff.

Down from there it's my BK16 in the field and my BK14 that's always in my Becker Field Man Purse.

I think with me it is as some others have stated. It depends on where I'm standing :o
Around the house the 15 is what I find myself reaching for more and more (especially in the kitchen)
But my favorite has been the 16, it is just a great all around blade for most everything at camp and in the outdoors.

#4: BK-9. It's not particularly well-balanced and it's not what I would call a serious cutter... but it ain't bad at all when you just need to whack the living hell out of pretty much anything... distant 4th in my book. (puts on fireproof Nomex suit and prepares to get lambasted...)

You are dead to me.

May you arise tomorrow with the fleas of a thousand camels.

Well. It happened. My 17 arrived. It may as well be at the tippy top of my list. Dang it all though, if I don't want an 11 and 16 now too. Pics of the 17 once the newborn decides to give dad some time to take pictures...

So, by favorite, you mean like right hand dominant, Prom King or Queen, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack, tier one high-speed low-drag tactical peanut-butter sammich, GQ James Bond Gear favorite?

mmmm... the BK15 is pretty slick, but so are the 1, 4, 5, 6, & 9.

Mine is the 9 since it's currently my only one. Hopefully ordering a 14 tomorrow, though.

I have the 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16 and a 14 on the way. I haven't broken in the 4 or 5 yet, so can't honestly comment on them. The 13 is a cool little knife, but not the same quality as the others. I really love the look, feel, and functionality of the 10, but I've used my 9 more than any of the others. It is awesome.

I've found my favorite is whichever one I have with me in the woods at the moment. ;-)

Tho it's not my most used Becker, I think the 12 is my favorite. I use my 11 more than any of the others, followed by the 4, the 15 with the 9 & 16 in a tie for fourth place. But the 12 is my favorite, and it goes with me when I'm out in the woods. I like the drop point and the length; it's big but not too....and I don't think it looks intimidating; people never seem as freaked out by the 12 as they are by the King and the Crown Prince.....that 4 especially gets some sidelong glances....

Hmmm.... hmmm.... I feel the OCD kicking in now.

Perhaps:

1) The one in your hand at the moment. :)
2) expect to process wood?: 9 or 4? Easy; 9 is King, 4 is very handy. Kings over 4's in cards & knives, eh?
3) don't expect to process wood much?: 16 or 24/14/11? I'd say 24/14/11 for EDC & 16 for general field use. Find myself always reaching for my 24 though; it's a capable trustworthy small knife that is very controllable to use; you can't not marvel at it IMHO.
4) Other

This list is subject to change at any moment. (and always does...)
