So since I began loving and collecting knives, I've been drawn up the price scale from crappy to wonderful knives... And I've really come to love Benchmade. I honestly can't get over the build quality and steel, and my addiction is going to bankrupt me...

What is YOUR favorite benchmade? Why? Is there a story? What do you like most about a benchmade?

... fondling my 910 Stryker...

805s TSEK...Because it's "large and in-charge". Also, it fits my hand well, and has the Axis-lock, as well as being totally "lefty-friendly".

The only one I own, the Apparition. The one I think I will like the best? Toss up between the mini Skirmish and the Nimravus Cub, I plan on getting both.

Either the 710 or 941, but the 220 Fixed Resistor is making a fast move up the list.

I would have to say the 806D2 is my fav closely followed by the 941 for when i need to carry a smaller knife.

Doug Ritter Griptilian, I think it's 552 or something?

Edit: I forgot to say why! It has great blade steel and the blade is thin enough to make it a very good cutter. I have confidence in the strength of the Axis lock. It is also light weight. The FRN handles don't bother me because I never need a folding knife (so far) to be stronger than the Ritter.

770 Carbon Fiber Osborne.

This is one sweet knife.
I would love to see a larger scale version of this knife.

Allen.

1. 710 with plain ol' ATS34. I've recently begum carrying the thing again and realized just how much of a tank it is.

2. 940sbt--Another lil' tank.

The different flavors of the Griptilian are my all around favorites but I find myself carrying a Gravitator more often than not anymore. It's super pointy and easy to put a nice edge on. Both are really solid knives.

Which Gravitator? Really intrigued by the Wharncliff blade style. I considered the plain edge, uncoated, model. Does the tapering end of the handle interfere with a good grip?

High Res Version Benchmade Snody Gravitator

I wondered the same thing about the handle but it's fairly comfortable (learned while reprofiling, I swear it seemed harder than S30V) and if anything it aligns the blade at a better angle coming out of your hand. I'm seriously considering getting an actual Snody one. Schweeet.

The exact model I handled at the show in Eugene last month. Bot the Emerson Alliance instead. Definitely on my list. Lucky !@#$%
