I am new to the Bark River world, but I have quickly been sucked in... I have a Hudson Bay Camp Knife and I am waiting on an Aurora.

What is your favorite BRKT for the great outdoors and why??

I've been pretty impressed with my Northstar and Mini Canadian, although I feel like moving on to some different Bark Rivers. There's not much wrong with either, I just want to explore more of the huge BRKT variety.

Of the two, I probably use the Mini Canadian more; it is plenty stout for hard work, but as a pocket fixed blade, it is just so easy to tote along. The Northstar is feather-light for its size and absurdly sharp (courtesy of Siguy). It is also a very attractive looking knife in addition to being a rugged worker.

the imp, i find it to be a great utility cutter, stout enough for forceful cutting but still up to smalltime jobs. i have it on my belt right now i don't even know it there.

The golok is really nice. I've been looking at the Hudson Bay for a while though...

i dont have any, but i think the one i would most like is the little creek. I also really like the hudson bay, but realistically, i cant think of how i would use it.

It is imposable to pick a favorite but the Fox River and Highland are the most useful for what I do most, Hunting, the Highland is about the perfect size.

I don't own one, but I love the looks and size of the discontinued E.L.K. (Essential Little Knife). Someone around here has one they posted a while back.

Too many designs and styles to pick just one.

I have handled and use quite a few of their products, and they all are real working knives made to be used.

Pick a cutting task, you can find a Barkie to handle it.

Some of my favorites include the Canadian Camp Knife, the River’s Edge, the Recurve Fox River, the BBK and BBK II, and the KSF Custom Bowie.

My favs right now are:
Canadian Camp
Whancliffe EDC ( a much under appreciated knife IMHO)
Aurora
(I am waiting for a H&C forum knife which I think will be the cats meow)

Bravo-1.. The handle is so perfectly contoured for my hand..

Just scored a Bravo1 from Jake, I'm really loving this thing so far. Very comfy, and sharp despite brutishness.

I like the aurora, but the handle length pushes my hand away from the edge which I don't like. The northstar's handle isn't 'positive' enough for me, nor big enough. The kephart's handle is a teensy bit too small, but the stick tang version made me nervous (the full tang of course would be a different beast, much for the better I'd imagine).

The Gundy is really interesting though, I'd love to handle one.
