I would have to say stag, but there are good stags and bad. Nice looking ones can go for a lot on ebay. The front of mine is only "meh" but I like the back....and I only paid $26 for it new on ebay.
No.2 would be the blue with red case logo. Those look amazing when the bone is not fully dyed at the edges and still is white. You get a nice red white and blue look.
I'm looking to get something new and while at first the black G10 turned me off, I am seeing quite a few attractive smooth black traditionals on the forum. They are very photogenic, if nothing else.
and sometimes the really ugly colored and jigged ones look the best.
As much as a I like the amber bone on both the peanuts and Texas jacks, I wish Case would make more stag. Not just the stag as they usually do it, like polishing off most of the bark, but like the Germans and English did their stag. Lots of bark and popcorn. Yeah, knarly stag. If I can't get that, I'll go with amber bone. Thats my story and I'm stickin' to it.
Seeing as I put in an order for one in chestnut bone this morning, I might be a tad biased at the moment (Of course I don't have it in hand yet, but I don't feel too out of line expecting to like it better than the delrin I've got.)
I don't have one, but I like the jigged chestnut bone the best of the ones I've seen. I like Pertinux's blue bone, but I wish I could find one with bone like my minicopperhead. Don't think they made one in that configuration (so far).
