Whats Your Favorite Concealed Carry Handgun ?

The first time my father let me hold his Highway Patrolman, "His .357", I knew I was goin to be a revolver guy.

ETA: I feel I should say that relocating from an urban to a rural setting has much changed my carry habits for the worse. For the sake of convenience, I usually just have a NAA .22LR in my pocket. Along with a couple knives, of course, haha.

I'm not sure the NAA is practical but I love them. I carry a Pug 22mag in my pocket and often forget it's there.
Yeah, I sure wouldn't want to have a gunfight with one, but it is very handy! I usually have the first couple of chambers loaded with the CCI shotshells for pests around the ranch.

I like the grips on the Pug! I got the .22LR version for about $200 a few years ago, cheaper than the convertible models and I find the magnum barks a little too much (for my taste) in such a small package.

I love my NAA .22 Magnum! I usually have that in the pocket of my sweatpants when I'm in the shop.
There was some great footage of a new "break-top" model at this year's SHOT show. If I remember right, the MSRP was close to $600  but it sure was a cool lookin little revolver! I imagine it's a ways away form being available at retail because I've been watching for them!

It's called the Ranger. William Bell will be doing an article on it in an upcoming Guns Of The Old West magazine.

When I'm in basket ball shorts or sweats I usually have the NAA side winder in 22 mag in the pocket. Run that hornady critical defense or gold dots. They destroy watermelons lol

Anyone get any new guns?

My father passed May 22nd he had been ill awhile and I had spent alot of time with him just talking ... sharing stories and laughs from growing up ... he always took me hunting and fishing and out in the woods picking berries or mushrooms and gave me my love of the outdoors, guns, and knives ...

after he passed a family friend brought me a box ... dad knew I had a Mule deer hunt trip planned and he knew I love my .270s for deer sized game ... the box had a new Savage Classic 110 in .270 ... a Leupold scope to put on it ... included a replacement for a knife I had gifted someone ... and then a Sig Sauer P220 Legion ... with a letter ... think was the most I've been surprised in my life ...

They are beautiful and top notch guns ... I haven't had time to shoot them yet ... but they will be treasured for sure.

Alrighty guys and gals, the time has come. I am downsizing everything in life due to unfortunate events and I have liquidated many material possessions including a couple of my carry guns. Do I get a Glock 43 or a sig P365 as my new single stack conceal carry? I’m leaning towards the glock just because I’ve owned 3 other glocks and like them a lot. I just can’t help but think I should give the nod to sig this time around. Anyone have experience with the P365 yet?

I’m going to say the Glock. I’ve never owned a Glock that didn’t work properly, can’t say the same for Sigs. I’ve only owned three of them, out of the three only one I would trust to carry.

Gotta vote for the Glock 43. The Sig really grabbed my attention when it was announced and I made a mental note that I would look into getting one. Since it's release there are numerous reports of broken strikers, broken trigger return springs, and improperly installed sights. I am confident Sig will get things worked out, but for right now I think the Glock is a known commodity and the better choice.
