The best Benchmade models arguably are all out of production, be it the AFCK, Skirmish, 42, Lum LFti, Rukus etc...

However, I'm curious as to what your favorite BM current production folder is. It's the ONE you like above all others, for me atm is the 808 Loco, love the negative blade to handle ratio.

Gold class and limited editions does not apply.

Without a doubt the Contego. Both the 810 and KW exclusive M390 version.

Very close second is the 761 MLK and the 757 Vicar.

I didn't expect it to kick my Ritters out of EDC but especially for warmer weather I love EDCing my 531.
Here it is with some other recent BM purchases. The 485 has not made a pocket appearance and the 14716 only briefly but the 531 has been going into the EDC spot for weeks now. Thin, light but sturdy. I like the pattern so much I just bought another 530s for my Disc Golf and trail running knife.

The 710. I don't own one yet but right now it's at the top of the list for this year.

I couldn't narrow it down to one but my top three in no particular order are 710, 531 and 556.

Ooh that's tough. As a knife user I can't function without a minigrip in my life. Best and most functional EDC I've ever encountered. However as a knife fan, ignoring my personal usage, it's the 757. It could use custom scales, but the action on that thing is just a work of art.

Probably this 530-1302, 16/30. Since the catalog offering is still in play, this is my favorite knife. The original in 440C was my first Benchmade, and the one pictured was given a one-off Gold Class treatment as a gift:

940-1
I never thought they'd improve on the 940, but with the flow-through design, sexy cf scales, featherweight, and S90V -- they did.

730....yea, I know it's disco'ed but...there seems to be a new one I miss or cant afford... Every. Fkn'. Year.

This thread made me realize how much i tinker with my Benchmades, most of my favorites are either LEs or have had some mods done. My Griptillians are out (all have after market scales), so is my 943 (940-1 scales), Torrent (deassisted), 761 (replaced thumb studs) and it goes on .....

The only current production, straight out the box, Benchmade in my rotation is a Northfork - guess that has to be it. If I can include HK, it would be the Nitrous Blitz that I haven't deassisted (yet).
