What's your favorite current production Scandinavian/Finnish knife?

If you are looking for something nice that won't break the bank, look up the offerings from Erapuu.

Just to introduce another maker into this thread...from way up north in Sweden: Karesuando

This is the Galten model in "Survival" guise. Added fire steel and 90° spine portion at the rear. Whether the ZERO retention sheath will aid in survival situations is up to debate. Picked up at auction for a fraction of retail, so I won't complain too loudly.

Brisa Trooper 115 is a really great bush knife for me. Also really like the Trapper I have in N690co , and the new Kephart as well.
My favorite Scandinavian knife company for sure. Well made knives with no BS features.

I am Scandinavian but I don’t really have any Nordic knives in my collection, except possibly for this guy. Next time I’m in Mora I’ll have to get myself one of the standard issue classics, a nr 1 or 2, those feel just like something Emil would have used to carve his figures when locked up in the woodshed for getting into mischief in Lönneberga 😉

Edit: not sure what blade Emil is using below, is that a reverse tanto? 😊

I like my #2 classic, myself. A #3 seems like too much blade and a #1 seems like not enough handle. It’s just a solid knife- nothing fancy and very handy. I’d be inclined to believe Emil is using a well-worn sheepsfoot.

Coming very close to pulling the trigger on the Skarma 200. The fact that they offer a left handed sheath is probably going to be the last little push I need...
We also have a Mora Kansbol (car knife), Garberg, and a pair of Eldris neck knives.

My current favorites are the Peltonen Sissipuukkos, but that is mostly the new toy effect, as I have had the Jääkäripuukko for several years and it has been a favorite all that time. The Skrama 240 is my favorite of all big blades in my experience (admittedly limited) of whatever provenance.
