Whats your favorite hard use knife?

I have beat the crap outta one of my BM 950 Rifts. I just love that knife and use it for everything. I have a couple of them, but it would be a shame not to use a knife that fits me so well. Hardle a beater, but its got enough scratches and wear marks on it that now it has "character".

The Spyderco Manix I just picked up is quickly claiming that spot. Original Manix, not the mini or the Manix 2. I have knives that are thinner than the lock bar on that beast. byrd Crossbill or Spyderco Assist also fit the ticket.

I usually go for fixed blades for medium/small hard use/beater roles, though... Izula and recently a TOPS Cheetah.

At present cold steel recon 1 new model. Not stupidly expensive to be used as beater / user knife. Very capable knife . Faron

thats because i took the pic when it was new ;)

really, when i have to beat on a knife reach for my izula. the 0350 is the only hard use folder i have.

I don't abuse any of my folders. Hard use knives are fixed blades, IMO. All of mine get used hard.

I haven't carried it all that much in the past couple of months because I've using a Para 2 around the house, but over the past 15 years this has been the knife that's seen the most hard use from me:

I use all my knives rather hard, even my folders. If the job requires a really heavy duty/hard use, I'd go for any of my preferred fixed blades (Izula, Izula 2, BK-11, Spyderco StreetBeat, Etc). But I do use my Spyderco Militaries, Manix 2, Pacific Salt and Gayle Bradley very hard.
I'll try to post some pics later.

For a long time, it was my Benchmade 670 (hell of a knife). Lately, it has been the ZT0551.
