Whats your favorite hard use knife?

ZT's have been my abuse knifes the last couple of years, especially the 200.

Recently I have been given a couple of strider's. I have read so much about them ( good and bad) that I really want to see if I can sift through the "hype" for lack of a better word to see what they are made of. I have been using the bigger one the SMF ( I think) the last week or so and I have been pretty Chevalier with it. I think subconsciously I am trying to break it.:o

So far it has answered the call, but I haven't really had a chance to get nasty with it yet so we will see. The one plus I give it is that it is surprisingly light and comfortable to carry. It rides so nice that I have actually thought I lost it a couple times until I patted my pocket to find it there.

Folder - Spydie GB, great work knife that took abuse that broke other knives (CPM M4, I'd guess is the reason).
If I was combat/rescue focused, maybe I'd go with the ZT 301.

Fixed - My knifeart 4" field knife... it's just the perfect backpacking knife, for me.

Hey guys what's your favorite hard use/beater folding knife?

My Demko Custom. Just got it and I don't beat up knives but do use them hard.

Let's see, probably a rotation of my 0200, Kershaw Blur, and my Kershaw Rake....subject to change, of course :D

My most used and abused knife is the Buck Vantage Select. Although...I don't really have a beater knife per say...I've just owned the Buck longer than any of my other blades. I own knives to use them (even though I own more than I will probably ever reasonably use), so I don't baby them...I in fact used one this evening (prepare to cringe) to pry off some interior panels on my car, in an effort to find a busted fuse. Didn't think twice.

I don't use folders for beaters. This one was my first knife and I trust it to stay usable, no matter what I throw at it. Or it at.

I rotate equally my Emerson Commander, ZT0300 and ZT0500 but my ZT's seem to me to be harder use than my beloved Emerson.

Really like my ZT200 for about anything. Got the fever for another 300.

I get a lot of mileage out of my Benchmade 710 and even more out of my Izula:thumbup: Unfortunately due to a tumble of my work vans roof the Izula had to undergo an extensive re-profiling:o

I don't really need to hard use my knives much. But if I had to I would choose my ZT301 and my ESEE RAT 3. 301 is D2...great steel. And Rat 3...1095. What can you say? Just wished I'd gotten the 4 inch model... Someday...
