whats your favorite kershaw?

My Blur.

It speaks to my hand in a slightly frightening way.

The Tremor, my latest Kershaw purchase, is also a fine knife, but it's just too beefy for my hand. (I'm female and have smaller hands than most men.) I gave the Tremor to a male friend, and it's become his EDC. And he uses his EDC a lot.

Right now I am truly digging my JYD SG2

It flips so damn fast and smooth and the Ti framelock is nice and thick.Fits my hand perfect and the blade shape is great for every task.

I also love my Speedform 2!!!!

That is a hard call, sinc I have found sooo many nice Kershaws. If I had to choose my favorite it would likely be my Speedform. It has a quality and classy feel about it..

I love the Tremor, I just wish Kershaw or maybe even ZT would make a better version of the knife with better materials. I love the design, but the 8Cr13MoV just feels kind of cheap in my hand and it has some blade play I can't get rid of.

I love all of Kershaw's knives equally :D

I have two (2) Kershaw Knives and absolutely LOVE them both.
They are both the TG1--one coated blade one stonewashed.
These Turbulence models have it ALL! Excellent build quality,
rock solid lockup, amazing deployment speed with flipper or stud,
great ergonomics, beautiful (at least in my eyes) aesthetics, really
like the Gaylean design and the just about perfect G-10 scales.
Only minor negative is the rather weak and goofy looking pocket clip.
Other than that this knife is perfection!

I really like the Groove. But I love a lot of them (most of the ones without SpeedSafe - just don't like A/O).

These :)

Then the Damascus Salvo/Barrage:

I got hooked with the scallion, but its a toy now.

The looks of the shallot seemed too long and narrow, until I got a S110V combo edge, it feels great any way I hold it in either hand and is my EDC favorite.
The speed/spec bumps are a close 2nd.

I just haven't really used my ZT 350 ZDP.

BUT my apocalypse/emergency/outdoor knife is the Offset, hands down still the best overall! double pumper, machined G-10, stud lock, dual grind blade.

Things might change when the 777 comes out.

My all-time favorite Kershaw is the old Wild Wild Turkey G10 ATS-34; over the years, it has had the most "pocket time" of any knives in my collection. It's the knife that started my Kershaw obsession. BTW, I was happy to see this model re-issued as the new China-built Hawk, and I bought two, one for EDC and one for the collection, but I keep going back to the WWT, even though the blade is a bit narrower from resharpening and reprofiling and there is almost no black coating left on the pocket clip! I did get an ODI that is a blem from Kershawguy to take over as my prime EDC, and I do love it and have carried it quite a bit.
(BTW, Dave, your service and prices are fantastic, and that first puchase of the ODI and the red Skyline certainly won't be my last!)

New here and first post.

My first was the Leek, followed by the OD-1 then the Oso.

But I'm really digging the Rake and apparently have to chat with this Kershawguy to get one...

Great to be here and love all the info. Thanks!

I have a Tremor and I have a Skyline and an 0300 on their way but I gotta say I just got this: Kershaw Select Fire - only cost me $12 but man it is so cool it immediately went in my EDC 5.11 messenger bag!

Out of the 30 + Kershaw knives I own I am partial to the Skyline. For some reason it gets scarey sharp the fastest and seem to hold the edge well. Funnest knife is the OD-1. This knife gets me in trouble cause it is addicting to open. I some times wish my pockets were bigger so I could carry more!

I use my Speed Bump the most in the kitchen. It's my go to knife for slicing veggies, and meats. But, for edc, I'm finding that I prefer three different knives, two Kershaw and one ZT. I've been packing around my recently acquired RAM 1910CKT. I find it's ergonomics just fit my hand like a glove, and I love the opening action it has. Then it's my S30V Blur. I absolutely love that knife, and the way it slices and holds an edge. Along with one of those, I generally have the ZT 350 that Dave gave me in one of my pockets. I really like that 350 because it fits my hand well, and carries nicely in my pocket. Plus, that S30V steel just seems to keep cutting. I love that stuff. So, most of the time, I'll be packing at least two knives where ever I go.

man, that is ONE tough question. i would have to say either of the old cyclones. they carry nice and feel great for me. now if they only had g10 handles. depending, sometimes that anodized grip is a might slick. still my favorite. if we're gonna cheat and add ZT's to the list, i go with the 200.

Mine was the Blur ,but I notice they changed the grind angle from a sloping forward (to the tip) grind to a 90 degree plunge line at the choil area, big bummer,so now my farorite is the Echelon.
