Since the What's your favorite Swiss army knife? POLL! has reached over 350 votes, I thought I'd try again ask what are everyone's favorite Leatherman-type multi-tools. By Leatherman-type, I mean folding pliers. There's a limit of 20 entries, so if your favorite isn't on the list, please choose other and list it in your post. Comments and photos are welcome of course! You can vote for more than one.

Here are mine (in no particular order)...

Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X
Victorinox SwissTool X
Victorinox SwissTool
Leatherman Wave
Leatherman Charge XTi
SOG PowerAssist
Leatherman SuperTool 300
Leatherman PST and PST II
Leatherman SideClip
SOG Pocket Power Plier

Gotta add my weekday EDC: a hybrid between SOG Pocket Powerplier and Paladin Tools Powerplay PT-510.

I have both the original pst and the pre 04 wave and i rotate between them depending on what I am doing.

I like the Blast. It provides alot of tools without the added weight. My Charge Ti is quite a bit heavier, and does'nt have that many more useful tools for me.While being a quality product and one hand opening to boot,I don't find the extra weight worth it.

I love the Leatherman Wave but I carry the Blast just for weight and the Phillips driver. So I guess I love the Blast the most.

My "favorite" varies from day to day. For me, the Swisstool Spirit is probably the "best" when it comes to tools vs. weight. But there is really not a multitool in my arsenal that I do not like, and I would be happy to have any of them on my belt when a need arises. I guess if I had to keep just one, it would be the Spirit because it gives me everything I need while still saving a few ounces on my belt.

I had the original Leatherman when it first came out till the original Supertool came out, that is still my current edc and favorite.

the Spirit because it gives me everything I need while still saving a few ounces on my belt.

What he said. I like the small size and the comfortable handle. I also find the file works really well and it has long screwdrivers an no extra bits to carry around.

Vic spirit X for me too

Shoot, didn't realize I could vote for more than one. I would have added Vic Spirit, and Leatherman Wave. I haven't handled most of the others, but I am looking to try a Leatherman Charge next.

Leatherman Charge TTi and Super Tool 300. I thought about this for a while, like them equally, would hate to choose between them for "favorite" status but if I really, REALLY had to, would go with one, then regret not choosing the other. :(;):D

well, i got a few edc saks and one leatherman which is a wave. not that theres anything wrong with leatherman, quite the opposite really. i usually use the wave for tinkering and it works well and don't really have the need for another multi-tool.

Like others I have a good number of MTs and none of them are bad, though all of them have some areas that could be improved upon. But of all the MTs I have, if I had to just keep one, it would be the Spirit X. So many tools, extremely comfortable pliers, superb construction etc etc. :)

I voted other because I didn't see Kick grouped with two other models until after I voted.
