I guess my Bark River "Huntsman", the most expensive of the trio, is my favorite. Another contender, the Marbles commemorative 'Bird & Trout' knife from a few years back is smaller. Both can be pocket carried in their original sheath or a KSF/Sharpshooter pocket sheath, but are not in production now. The Buck el-cheapo #005GYS "Gen5" is available, but needs a belt for it's handiest carry. It's the cheapest - half the cost, or less, of the Huntsman - and made of Buck's 420HC while the Huntsman is A2 steel/ The little Marbles is 01-170 CS - and convex, like the Huntsman..
Here they are sheathed:
The Buck Custom Shop 110 'Folding Hunter' is shown in the first picture for scale.
Izula and the RC3 get the most use.I also have a Grant Hawk Pony Knife. The little knife is beautiful, but seldom sees use.It has a cured horse hoof handle and I am not sure he makes them anymore.
Mine is my Bark River Mini Canadian. Every now and then I try (unsuccessfully) to swap it for something pointier and with a bit less belly, but all in all it is a great pocket fixed blade.
I like my Spyderco Mule Team that I gave a Strider Wrap to.... Top one in this image...
The new Mule Team will be available Oct 14, for $20, make your own handle and sheath, or get someone to do it up for you, and you could have the whole package for as little as $100.
