mmmmm....what do you consider to be a "mega-folder"? 5 inches plus? 6 inches? I have an Imperial Type A-1 folding Air Force Bolo Machete if you want a real "mega" folder...lol.

But the largest folders I normally carry on me are my Spyderco Catcherman and Cold Steel Twistmaster. Both have 4 1/2 inch blades...

My most used mega-folders would be the Vaquero Grande and CUDA Maxx bowie. If we're taking about just big folders, I'd add the Extrema Ratio Nemesis and Spyderco Military.

Diablo rocks!

Somebody, quick, get out the "Monster Rocket"!

If you are interested in a 'low cost' S30V, textured handle, assisted Large Folder. Try the ZT301. Otherwise, the Strider AR, RCC, and SMF are great big folders too.

I've got one of those big, huge, mammoth switchblades...well, not that big, but it can be wielded easily by two hands. It's got stag grips and opening the thing gets a lot of attention. They'd be horribly expensive now, but back when I bought it, it wasn't.

I've also got a Vaquero Grande and an X2. I have to say my choice would be the former if I were to carry it in a bad part of town. Say what you want about recurved blades, but they do cut a vicious swathe. Additionally, I bought a couple of Maxam SKLARGE knives (5-inch blades), which I keep in the glove boxes.

I do like BIG folders.
