Whats your favorite neck knife?

Here's the Diotte I mentioned earlier. Jellyroll stainless damascus, green G-10 over Carbon Fiber, mosaic pin.

My Fallkniven WM1 in the factory kydex is around my neck whenever I need it.

Had to be Tom Krein's TK-1! Excellent sizing, ergos and blade geometry!

My perfect necker is the hideaway ins30v, minimal, yet maximal, if u know what i mean.

I am also the proud owner of a Krein TK1. It has to be the best looking neck knife around and it also cuts.

I'm gonna have to give the nod to my Hideaway.

It is well thought out and executed, the sum of which is greater than its seemingly simple part(s).

I'm not sure if I'll hang it from my neck most of the time, though. Its versatile enough it will likely land elsewhere in my person.

Bob Dozier K-15 that I had him make with a 3 3/4 inch blade and handle - 7 1/2 inches overall. I love that knife.

Fred Perrin LaGriffe (not Emerson's version). I have a green micarta and a skeleton handle. My wife liked them so much I got her an ivory micarta handle with filework. Terrific knives...exclusively for self-defense so never have to worry about sharpening.

Cold Steel mini-tac w/serrations & tanto point, Becker Necker (I wrapped the handle w/paracord in such a way that I can still open beers w/it, though I wish the handle were a bit longer) and sometimes my Spyderco Perrin Utility, though its really too long for that method of carry...

I'm liking that Chipmonk from above post (how much, if you don't mind my asking?) and the Hideaways too though!

The (Emerson) La Griffe is a very low profile compact carry. I have a Diotte piece that I like a lot as well but is larger as well as a Lightfoot Neck Needle (?) in damascus that is a good middle ground between the two.

Allen's knives are pretty hard to come by since he basically pi**ed off everyone in the knife industry, makes a heck of a knife though if you can get one.

From what I understand he's still taking orders because his knives pop up for sale from time to time and are of newer designs, but I doubt you'll ever see any more in Talonite unless he can get it third hand.

With that said, when he was making that one they were about $100, in carbon steel they were about $60.

My fav is the Emerson Lagriffe. I just got a shiv works lil' loco that I am carrying around my neck today for the first time and it is a sweet little knife. I mean really friggin little, though there is still enough steel to be useful for sd or even small utility tasks. I like it a lot but think it will end up being carried ina manner other then as a neck knife. I think I am going to make a bts sheath for it.

Mission MPU: enough blade, nicely shaped handle, and you can't beat the corosion resistance.
