What's Your Favorite Pocket Gadget (Keep it Clean!)

If I am entirely honest about this it would have to be my Sony Clie (http://www.sony.com/ and retailers). These are a series of PalmOS PDAs that are just a little nicer than the others I have used in almost every area. I've been a big fan of Palms since they first came out.

By way of a more normal gadget-type gadget, I'd have to pick my Arc AAA flashlight (http://www.arcflashlight.com/ and retailers). I have cooler and fancier flashlights, including an Arc LS-H, but the little AAA is a perfect compromise of size, weight, and output.

My Palm Tungsten T PDA. I use it all the time for both business and pleasure. It organizes my life, lets me keep informed and entertained with reading material, news, games and MP3s. IT's like having a computer in your pocket (oh, wait, it IS a computer in my pocket!).

My next favorite pocket item these days is a Victorinox Cybertool 29. It's been useful daily sisnce I added it to my EDC although I'm starting to think that with a Cybertool 34 I could quit carrying my Micra as I'd add scissors and would gain pliers as well in the exchange.

Anyone carry a Cybertool 34 in Khakis? How bulky is it?

Then of course there's the clipped EDC knife of the day and a small Surefire and the back-up Arc AAA.

How do you really expect someone to pick a single favorite???

My favourite is my LM Micra and Arc AAA combo. I just can't separate them !

Strider Model 2 drop point/spear point SnG.

In the next few months, that should change to a Strider SMF/MARSOC!

At this moment, I'd have to say it would be a combination of my HP 2215 PDA and my Sony Ericsson T616 Cell phone. They are both Bluetooth appliances which allows me to log into the internet and check my emails and browse the web from anywhere, at any time.

Simply put, I can use the PDA to surf the web because it establishes an internet connection through my cell phone. No wires are necessary.

My fave is my Surefire E1 accompanied by my SOG Crossgrip. I have a handspring but it's gotten to be pretty damn obsolete. I really need to upgrade as I didn't even have enough memory to download Epocrates.

**edited to add- How could I forget my Seamaster pro? By far my fave watch gadget.

Bob, how much was your phone before and after promotion?

I wish I could tell you, but I haven't a clue. One thing I like about Cingular Wireless is the SIM chip. It allows me to switch phones at will, and I have five phones to choose from. If I like a phone, I will buy it.

That being said, I just ignore the phone rebates and charge the phones to my business when I buy a new one. I think it was around $200 or so.
