Just curious. What's everybody's favorite spots to chow down? Doesn't have to be fancy or anything.

For me, im a huge fan of Quaker Steak and Lube...usually get a few beers, some Arizona ranch wings, and some soft pretzels with beer dip or some loaded cheese fries. An hour or two there just makes my whole day awesome.

Been eating here for over 20 years, I try to get there once a week.

Probably Capitol Grill ... at least for main-line "beef and potatoes."

For more exotic fare, I am conflicted.;)

no particular favorite,I enjoy
trying many of the "mom-n-pop" or small
independently owned types.
Would definitely stop and try this place! :D

A plain little concrete block building on Highway 14 between Tallassee and Auburn, Alabama called Elmer's.

They have the best meat&three buffet I have ever tried.
Fantastic meat, three great vegetables, roll or corn muffin, drink and homemade dessert for less than ten bucks. Large portions, I usually get a "go" box because I can't eat it all, and I am not a petite person.

Best part is, it is directly between my hunting club and my parent's old place which I use as my hunting base. A long day of deer hunting followed by a 20 minute drive to great eating is hard to beat. Not bad after an Auburn home game, either.

Old Chicagos. They have the largest selection of beer and great pizza to go with their brews.

Being from Pittsburgh, I have to like this!

I really can't narrow it down to one restaurant. For any type of Asian cuisine I like Taipei Tokyo (Monroeville, PA) and love Cheng's (all i know is that it's in Loudon County, VA). Mexican food I like El Campisano. Unfortunately I don't know of any place with really good bbq around here :( so if anyone knows...spill!

Some people might expect me to say Primanti's, but I really have to be in the mood for that. For a good steak and egg sandwich I go to Peppi's on the north side. It's the home of the famous "Roethlisberger"

Well since no one has jumped on it yet,,, I'll have to go with :

FOGOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D, See ya'll there

Old Chicago is some of my favorite pizza but I'm going to have to go with Cracker Barrel for chain restaurants. I love breakfast food.

Hmmm tough call since there are so many greats here in Manhattan...

Gramercy Tavern is probably my top favorite.

Best steak I've ever had wasn't even in NYC (strip house is my fav in NYC), it was at Bern's in Tampa.

Quaker Steak and Lube is the S**T!! Especially if you re a race fan and like spicy food. I am on the "Wall of Flame" for completing their hot wing challenge! i wouldnt recommend it to anyone! Your whole face feels like its on fire for like two hrs afterwards!! Not worth "the wall" and the bumper sticker you get! lol

Too hard to pick a "favorite." If pushed, I'd say "Mrs. in MA." The food is good, I don't have to leave a tip and I can squeeze the waitress' behind and she won't get upset.

Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh

Hyman's Seafood in Charleston

Miso Harney Sushi in San Diego

Alice's.

;)

(ok, ok... Fogo de Chao, AKA "FOGOS"...the one in Atlanta! :D:thumbup:)
