Whats your favorite SAK EDC....

Victorinox Mini Swiss Champ, carried in the 5th pocket of my jeans every day. It's the only knife I can sneak through the metal detectors at the door.

Metal detectors, eh? Where do you work? For the government? Area 51, perhaps? :)

Pioneer Farmer and Midnight MiniChamp II, both loose in my front left pocket.

Gotta have the saw. :D

84mm Tourist (smaller version of a Spartan). LOTTA usefulness packed into this thing!

Usually I carry a Fireman in a molded leather sheath or a Farmer in my watch pocket.

I keep a Victorinox Cybertool 41 and Craftsman in my gear bag and a Victorinox Climber and Rally in my Spec Ops Mini Pocket Organizer.

What kind of gear bag? Got a make/model/version?

I was using a Maxpedition Proteus but have since moved all of my gear to a Falcon (not the new Falcon 2 ;)). I find it holds everything I need for work and everyday activities with a little extra room to spare. It gets heavy sometimes, but it usually just sits in my truck until I need it. Even when I need something, I usually just have to pull out one of my Cocoon Pouches or my Pack Rat to get what I need. I also keep my Spec Ops Mini Pocket Organizer (with the Climber and Rally) in the Falcon until I need it. The Cybertool 41 and Craftsman are usually in their respective sheaths in the bottom of one of the Falcon's compartments along with several other multitools.

The Falcon has worked great but I'm seriously interested in the new packs Maxpedition has coming out, specifically the Last Resort or the Operator. I've thought about getting a new Falcon 2 but I honestly don't think I need all the extra attachment points.

Sorry to ramble off topic...:o

I have several SAKs but use them for specific purposes e.g. super tinker in the first-aid box and medicine cabinet or Soldier in my day pack when camping. But my urban EDC is an 84mm tinker. I used a dremel to remove the key ring nub and then I removed the can opener shape from the can opener and left myself with a very handy slotted/phillips screwdriver. I only use the back mounted phillips for getting a stubborn/tight screw started. Then I switch to my "screwdriver" that was a can opener. I'm able to use it in the tightest places where I was not able to before modifying it.

Recently received a SOG Powerlock with gold Ti coating. This is one great multi-tool which just reeks of quality and it is replacing my Leatherman Charge Ti for EDC.

Only thing I don't like is that the main blade is semi-serrated but the other functions and tools outweigh that slight disadvantage.

Belt loop left side.

today an oupafied mechanic and an alox classic on my keychain. hard to make my mind up though, my wooden scale compact is the other favourite edc.

Alox pioneer, with an Arc AAA and paracord lanyard clipped to it. Usually sits in my front left pants pocket.
