Well that didnt take long...just ordered a new NS black Trekker from Amazon for $30..:D

Havent had a SAK since camping as a kid...they have some cool stuff out now.

Besides now I can do some lanyard work.

favorite SAK?
seriously dude, the day it boils down to only having one favorite model; would be the day i need to be wheeled in for some serious fixing myself...

Alox Farmer
OHT in serrated or plain
Rucksack
Classic

And definitely a Vic SwissTool Spirit, if that's allowed.

On our recent mini W&SS hike with Ray, Dave, and Sasha from the forums we had a few Swiss Army Knives and Sasha was interested in the OHT PE so I thought I would share with everyone here.

I've always been partial to extremes :); the big do-it-all Champ, and the little Classics.

I usually go for either the Spartan or the Tinker, depending on whether or not I plan on opening some bottles of wine, or if I'm going to need a decent screwdriver.

I have no favourite SAK, but I prefer a Soldier, Spartan or Climber for EDC and a Farmer, Huntsman or New Soldier for outdoor.
Note: there is a thread like this on the multitool forum.

I prefer the thinner ones. Maybe 2 to 4 layers at most. It keeps it lighter and easier to pocket.
