What's your favorite SAK?

I carried an old model Vic SAK 'Craftsman' for years while teaching. Long retired - myself and the knife - I now find a Vic 'Farmer' ideal.

I presently carry a Super Tinkerer but plan on replacing it in the near future with a Fieldmaster. I am also placing an order, probably today for the Spirit X multitool.

My favorite is the Alox Cadet II.

I also like the regular Cadet, the Tourist, the and Alox Bantam. All of these take up very little room in my pocket but are capable tools.

My Swisstool Spirit is my favorite multitool. I like it more than my Leathermans.

lately going from the climber to the compact to the Explorer.
The outrider is my fishing SAK.
I always have a classic on my keychain.

my favorite SAK would have to be the VIK camper. i like mine a lot. enough tools for me, and not a gratuitous amount of tools. :D

I used to carry a camper until I found a huntsman. Sawblade AND scissors -- worlds best combination. And no, it doesn't replace my multitool.

If I were to pick one for backpacking, it would be the One-Hand Trekker or similar. I'd also give this one a try, the Wenger Century.

My EDC SAK for as long as I can remember is the Ambassador. It's just enough bigger than a Classic that the scissors are more usable (to me). Nail file, toothpick, scissors and tweezers- I hardly ever use the blade- all in a very compact package.

My Dad, my son, and nearly anybody I've ever given gifts to has one and they all love them.

Favorite would be an allox Soldier, but my little translucent green Classic SD is always w/ me on the keyring. The Soldier rotates with other knives depending on where I'm going and what mood I'm in.

Soldier.

This one has been in my pocket every single day that I've worn pants since sometime in 2003. I need to pick up a few more of these before they get too hard to find (I don't like the new Soldier).

If I could go back in time, I think I would have gotten a Cadet instead because I don't have a lot of use for the awl and would rather have a small blade. But this Soldier has developed a lot of sentimental value, so I just can't replace it, even if the awl is useless.

Ever notice how the soldier model never seems to wear? Mine looks almost new on the outside, same goes with its walk and talk.

MacArthur was wrong. Old soldiers don't get old nor do they just fade away :D
