whats YOUR favorite spyderco and why?

It is a toss up between the Para 2 and the Manix 2. I love the ball lock on the Manix but I just picked up a brand new, made in September Para 2 for 69 bucks! I still have to get used to the compression lock but being a lefty it is really growing on me! I think the Para wins by a hair but I really love those Axis/ball locks. On a side note, anyone know why Spyderco would print the date on the blade under the scales were it can't be seen? I pulled mine apart for a quick cleaning and there was 9-11 printed upside down near the lock cutout on the blade. You would think you would want it visible.

Sage 2, probably the most comfortable knife my hand has ever held. Love the simple titanium framelock, open construction. Para 2 is a close second though.

I can't really answer this honestly, I mean which ever one that is in my pocket becomes my favorite. here the one's I carry though (Rotation).

Para2
Caly ZDP
Caly3.5
Ti UKPK
Sage's
GB

Love'm all.

I'd probably vote for the Para 2, to be more precise the Cts-20CP version. However, I am madly in "love" with my new Yojimbo 2 at the moment...

Military is all I really need :) the para2 is tempting though, but need funds :o
Stays sharp forever, carries like a small knife in your pocket.
Great ergonomics, blade and handle shape are just superb.

Oh, and this thread needs more pictures guys.

Para 2 because it doesn't wiggle like all the lockback models. Also, it is light, easy to clean and purposeful. It's just a great knife for the money.
One thing I don't like about Spydercos is that they design their knives so that one is inclined to use a thumb-on-the-spine-grip, which I do use, but not all the time.
Another thing I don't like is the forward lean of the blade, as I prefer it to be more in line with the grip. Otherwise, the Para 2 is pretty close to perfection (for me).

Para 2, perfect size and love the blade shape. Military a close second but its a tad too large for edc, though the longer blade is more useful at many tasks.

This has been an interesting read for me. I only have one Spyderco now. I have a Manix 2 that my son gave me for my 1 year anniversary of Leukemia (survivor). I plan on going to Golden, CO before Christmas and visiting the Spyderco store and hopefully get a mini tour of the place and may pick up another knife

jwh.

I like the old worker, sharpened the clip and it makes a great box cutter. Removed the clip and rides nicely in the pocket until ready to use.

If I had to pick one knife, I'd say the PM2. I only have the s90v version, but it is amazing. Second would be the military(mine is M4 with a foliage green scale), either of those could be my last folder ever.

I only own a delica 4 and a cricket, but I'm debating on a paramilitary 2,dodo,sage 3, or manix 2, my current favorite is the sage 3 just the look and lock up is soo amazing to me but never actually held a paramilitary before

With them making so many great models this is a very tough question. Maybe the toughest knife related question of them all.

Lately I've carried my PARA 2 the most, and also carry my Sage and UKPK alot. But If I must go with one it would have to be the full sized Military. Its size/weight ratio is the best of any knife, and makes it a breeze to carry for such a large knife. It also offers many grip options, such as choking way back on the handle for awesome swing cuts. I have several, but mostly carry my CF BG42.
