tried the southard it was no good for me, though i think i got a dud it was secondary market and pivot might have been too tight this was a while ago when i didn't know any better
have a domino at the moment it is absolutely fantastic, beautiful flipper and acoustically very satisfying, knife is a tiny bit too small for my hands though, would like a 3.5-3.75" or so domino-something-a-rather
I currently have the Rubicon, the pasitron, the domino, and thd dice. And i must say i like them all. They all flip open with ease, they are stylish, well made, and sharp as heck from the factory.
The pasitron is great cause its very light weight and it has a smaller blade.
The domino and the dice are so similar that its just a size difference between the 2. The flick open with gusto, they are incredibly well made, and they look down right awesome. They are so fun to handle lol.
The Rubicon is a very nice modern knife. Its lightweight, flips open smoothly, feels great in the hand, and it looks great in my opinion. The carbon fiber is perfectly sanded and buffed to a good shiny hue.
I recommend all 4. It just comes down to what size and weight you want. [emoji16]
I've had the Positron, Domino, Dice, Mantra, and Mantra2... The Mantra2 is by far my favorite, even if it doesn't deploy like a ZT. The narrow blade height is rare in the lineup, and I think the whole knife just makes sense. Domino and Dice were just a lot of handle and extra blade to me, the Mantra didn't seem like it needed the flipper, and the Positron was all wrong in my hand (though my sample flipped better than any other spydie i've flipped). Its only a matter of time before I finally get a Southard
I like the Southard. I removed the flipper on the Domino and haven't regretted it a second. I actually hardly use the flipper on the Southard, but it works well the few times that I do...
