What's your favorite spydie ?

Spyderco makes a lot of knives that cover everything from tiny keychain pieces to large serrated self defense knives like to the Civilian to folding filet knives. That said, my two favorite Spydercos are the Native and Lum Chinese, both of which are slight bit over 3" in blade length.

If you can't find a Spydie you like, then you need to be committed!

I own a Calypso (full size), Endura (vintage) and a full size Wegner. I have also owned a serrated Viele. The Viele was really cool, but I don't likte serrations, so I dumped it, although I should've kept it. Of the four I've owned I like the Wegner the best. I also like the Endura a lot, but I'm not a big fan of plastic handles.

Full sized Wegner hands down. That said, I mostly carry a dragonfly, delica or calypso lw to work since I don't want to scare anyone.

Only own 1 at the moment, but I love it:
Calypso Jr/ Micarta

I have carried my Calypso Jr. everyday since I got it a month or two ago. I love the knife! I have since purchased the full size version, but it has a little bit of play in the blade.

Not too bad, but I wish they would use some liners in those.

Starmate. Great blade steel and a terrific design. My favorite G-10 production knife, bar none.

Standard, Harpy, Delica, Dragonfly, Ladybug, Calypso Jr ltwt., SyderCard, Q, and Native.
Hands down favorite is the Native.

Easy... it's a tie:

Wegner
Starmate

Military has an inefficient blade/handle length ratio, and the tip is ground too thin/delicate.

It's a tie between the plain edge Military and the Lum Tanto.

I only have 2 Spydies, a blue inlay Native & a G-10 Harpy and both are excellent knives. Of these two, the Native is more versatile, and with the inlay it's much more attractive, not to mention that sheeple stampede when they see the Harpy, but other than that they're lockbacks (I prefer locking mechanisms that are easier to close with one hand), I have no complaints about either. Spyderco makes a lot of different knives. See if you can find a well-stocked knife store in your area and handle them for yourself. What you will learn (about your favorite Spydie) from having the knives in your hand is much more valuable than what you will learn from the knives in my hand.

Lagre Calypso with plain edge.

Oh I forgot - I have 20-30 less spyderco knives.
