Whats your favorite traditional scale material?

I like stag but only if fairly symmetrical and not overly thick. Bone varieties including primitive, jigged, and carved can be very pleasing to me. My favorite would be an carved stag bone in either amber or antique. Some jigged patterns I don't really care for as well as sawcut bone. Canvas & burlap phenolics of a single color also look good to me depending upon the knife. I'm a sucker for Desert Ironwood and various spalted burls. Here is one such burl (Box Elder) I could not resist.

Wood
Stag
Ivory/pearl
Bone/horn

Then
G10/micarta

Lastly:
I don't care much at all for synthetic plastics, although I have found one or two I enjoy.

Wow, that handle is a beauty!

Ebony and stag. I do not own any ebony at all.

It just looks and feels so great. I do have stag. I like brown bone too.

Micarta too.

Gold: Wood (Juniper, Ironwood, Leopardwood)
Silver: Micarta (Canvas then Linen)
Bronze: Bone (Smooth then Jigged)

I am plain batty for the Acrylics. Don't know what it is, but I think its just a very classic material and I love the colors :)
