The 801 is amazing at everything other than cutting.... which is pretty important to me in a knife. One of the best flipping actions around and a sweet looking knife, but ergos and blade shape arent even close to some other ZT offering IMO. Having a regular 801 for a while saved me alot of money on the limited models. If you are going to play with your knife alot and use it a little, then the 801 is hard to beat because the flipping action really is as good as everyone says.
For me, the 770CF is far and away better than the 801. If I had 200 to spend on a ZT right now, I would hit up the exchange and get either a 560BW or a 300BW, just because I already have a 770CF.
