What's your favourite high-end fixed blade

Production Fiddlebacks are sweet knives that won't break your wallet, plus they look pretty darn good too.

"High-end" is a big word. Three I can recommend, in descending order of cost:

Winkler Belt Knife
Roselli leuku
Gryphon M-10

Were I to still be buying fixed blades I'd add a Ratmandu and a TOPS B.O.B.

High end (to me) for a fixed blade is $750+ ... High end for a folder starts at $1000.

To me, high end isn't about price at all, it's about the correct combinations of materials, design, & execution (fit & finish). That's why I buy from smaller custom guys, as they hit it out of the park in all three areas. These pics show four of my customs that are high end IMO....the steels used in these are CPM-154, 3V, & S90V. I know that these don't meet the high-end mark for some, but I just wanted to put a vote in for the sub $500 custom fixed blades...btw, I paid from $200 - $430 for these guys.

My "high end" is certainly not the same as many here. But my favorite fixed blade happens to be the one I paid the most for...the ZT 0180. Would love to try some customs at some point in time, but this is what I have now.

I consider the term "high end" to be in reference to materials and quality rather than price.

My thought is, for fixed blades, the ideal mix of Quality of materials, design, F&F, and warranty reaches its peak at Survive! and Busse/kin.
After that, its easy to spend upwards of 2000 dollars on a custom, but will the materials be any better? Will the maker back up their product to the same level?
I don't believe so, which is why I don't really look elsewhere at the moment, but again YMMV.

Until Nathan the Machinist ramps up production,, I'll keep spending my money with these guys.

I agree. These two companies. 3V in the Survive GSO or INFI in the Busse line. I know there are some fans of S35VN and it's a great steel but I think these two are better at being bomb proof. AND, the price you pay on the secondary market for a Survive knife will be worth it. YMMV.

I also agree that "high end" doesn't necessarily mean big money . To me it means quality materials , good fit and finish , good company to deal with and good warrantee .

I think both Survive Knives with their CPM3v steel and Busse Combat with their INLF steel fall under those requirements . I own both and I honestly don't think another $1000 would make a noticeable difference over my GSO 5 .

I'm so keen to get my hands on a gso but they are so hard to purchase and beat the sell out times!

If the focus isn't price I'd like to revise my choice LOL...

High end fit & finish and materials for an extremely fair price for this WaterstoneBlades custom fixed blade.:cool:

I love my 2 newly acquired handmade knives by BCK aka Big Custom Knives. But for my absolute Favorite of all my knives, I would have to say is a tie between my Ray Matton Handmade First Blood knife and my Andrew Clifford Knives Sly II style knives. But I favor so many of my knives...This is a tough Question for me but I go with them 2!!
