The sheath that comes with my S1s much nicer than the kydex. They do the blades justice...

My favourite is the Recon Bowie sheath because its black and its made out of thick leather.

My favorite SOG sheath is the one my SOG is in.....

it keeps that razor edge off'n my fingers.

Not to start a fire.. AGAIN.. but their kydex sheaths are absolute,pure, unadulterated garbage..

The knives are rock and roll and whasshiface needs to make sure the sheath is worthy of the knives.
If they need to jump the price $25 who cares...

I love the Old style Kydex sheath on my Mini Pentagon. I don't wear it on my belt, but lash it to my LBE and they sheath with the boot clip works great for that. Come to think of it, if I need/want to lash my knife somewhere on my gear I prefer the Kydex sheaths. The Kydex sheaths let me lash my knife in any possition I want to.

For stanard belt carry I prefer the SOG Nylon sheaths because they are more comfortable on my small belt. The Green one for the Seal Pup is pretty sweet!!
