Whats your first knife of the year ?

I'm still waiting on my Yuna Hard-2.He said by the end of February.
 
Friday found me waiting at the knife-pusher's across town as he went thru the fresh package of new BM's - there it was - a 15005-2 Bone Collector in walnut. Below it joins the recent Christmas goodie - a CRK Nyala - and a couple year old Gerber Freeman in S30V & stag. All pretty much equivalent - the Nyala is nicest, as expected, but twice the MSRP of the BM. The Gerber is great - hard to believe it's a currently made Gerber. The Bone Collector is quite nice - razor sharp D2. It needs to be - I am on a knife-buying moratorium.

A Benchmade mini griptilian, 556.
Keeping myself in hand for now, though I'm seriously considering a Spyderco Gayle Bradley.
 
I picked up a spyderco pacific salt, PE and yellow handle. want to see this H-1 steel. then i got a tenacious to see how much of a good deal it really is.
 
ESEE RC6. Got a Rowen-made HEST fixed blade incoming too, one of the last available. So pumped.
Thinking a custom Khukuri camp knife/machete in the future, somewhere in the 15-18" blade length area. Or a Zombietools ApoKatana. Thing is sweet.
 
The only knife I have bought (well I bought it on the last day of 2010 and received it Jan 3rd) this year was a FFG orange Manix2. But I'm waiting for a new paycheck so I can preorder a Benchmade 581 and also buy a Speedform 2 because I'm wanting to try M390 and ELMAX.
 
I purchased a zt0551 and an XM-18 on the same day. Two great knives to start the year off :)
 
I have a Benchmade 721 en route to me from a fellow forumite. Should be here either tomorrow or Tuesday.
