What's your go to wiper blade?

I've also found that Rain X helps my windshield get rid of frost faster. I mean a coating of Rain X applied to the windshield. I too have been using it for decades. It only works when your going either fast or NOT behind Brother 338375. :) (nothing personal mind you)

The other day when I was at the big box store, I saw where they are selling their one gallon containers of windshield washer fluid in one quart sprayers. I guess you are supposed to spray the frost or ice covered windshield and wait for a few minutes for it to work. It might save some wear and tear on the wipers or my arm? Personally, I'll just get a old Windex sprayer and use that and get back with you.

I first used Rain-x back in the early 70's when my brother gave me a sample. He was a ground crew chief on F-111s and they used it on aircraft windshields. If you follow directions and start with a very clean windshield, it works wonders. I've been satisfied enough with it that I haven't tried other brands. I haven't tried their washer fluid either. I did use Rain-x on an old car when the wipers quit working. It worked well enough that I never got them fixed before I junked the car.

I sell Rain-X Latitude wipers at my auto repair shop, been selling them for years and find them to be one of the top wipers available.

I've also had good luck with Rain-X blades, also like Bosch, but the Rain-X seem to last a bit longer. Salt spray/dust wet or dry at interstate speeds blasting at your windshield is a real test for wiper blades, if they last a season of this, they're good.

Rain-X brand wipers are great and last longer for me than generics. I've used them without Rain-x and they still perform better. Applying Rain-x works. Properly applied on my car, water beads and streams so well you do not need wipers at 50+ mph - probably depends on windshield angle. Window appears to clear itself like magic.

There is nothing worse than being behind a truck in the rain or snow... If the snow is really dry and powdery, it does keep people from getting really close to the back of the trailer :D

Over the years I've learned that oem seems to last the longest for me and the brand I prefer, Toyota, sells replacement inserts at a very reasonable price.

I have always used inexpensive "goodyear" brand from Costco on my vehicles. Cheap and work well. Last 6mo to a year depending on use and if it is a garaged vehicle or not. My wife's MB SUV has super long blades and tended to chatter/squeak . Found the Bosch ICON to work great and are quiet. 4x as expensive though

I've used Bosch and Rain-X brands and both really do a good job, no streaking and they last the whole year. I have to replace them every year no matter what, there is a lot of sun and the high temps with high UV rays kills every brand equally without discrimination.
