What's your INCHAB knife for a PAW?

We know that any SHTF scenario will require good blades, and in such an event anyone who's anyone already has a BOB and at least two BOLs.

However, things can be much worse than a temporary SHTF. An EOTWAWKI emergence could easily be so dramatic that in the resulting PAW we won't be able to just wait it out, eventually to tidy up and sally forth into normalcy. This is when you grab your INCHAB and occupy your BOLs...permanently.

For when the S really, really HTF, what's your INCHAB knife? :)
 
Of course I'm tremendously biased, so if I couldn't have a Keffeler Super Assassin for my TEOTWAKI INCHAB, I would choose something like this, because I read Hatchet and you just can't deny the awesome utility of a fine small hatchet or axe:

Prophylactics historically have been commonly used to protect rifle barrels from contamination in the field .
 
first of all, you need to ensure you get to your BOL, so an essential step is your BOV, imho an off road f150 with diesel/cooking oil mod is nearly ideal, as long as you also have a decent dirtbike strapped to the back = D

for INCHAB, (I'm never coming home again)... but the B has me stumped?
simplicity works; a cheap machete, a good fixed blade, good axe and maybe even a truckers friend made out of Ti (if we can convince mecha to conjure one up; )

...just curious, are you watching or reading anything good prepper wise? (I'm assuming you referenced the book by G. Paulsen?)

I'm never coming home again bag. What you throw in your BOV to skidaddle on out to your chosen BOL. IDK about you, but if SHTF and it's TEOTWAWKI and I'm staring a PAW in the face and it's likely to become an INCHA scenario, I'm gonna be in a better position if I have something better than a cheap machete, lighter than a heavy axe, and bigger than a basic fixed blade only. And I'm not trusting a Found On Road Dead / Fix Or Repair Daily F150 as my BOV; YMMV. o_O In fact, my BOV is likely to be a BOB (bug-out boat).

Yes the reference was Hatchet by G. Paulsen. Everyone should read that book.
