Sir, you have failed to prepare for the devastating impact of fruit in a PAW, particularly the nefarious banana and it’s equally dangerous cousin, the plantain.
Maybe they figure Scotch is covered under "EDC"Prepping with a solid BOB/INCHAB is to be taken seriously. In fact, it's srs enough bsns for the Scotland Police to be sending out widespread public messages to the general public imploring them to get together a good BOB, which, hilariously, they call a "Grab-and-Go-Bag."
Here's the Scotland Police's suggested BOB ensemble:

Now I bet everyone on this forum can immediately see the glaring, obvious, deficiency and/or missing very important item in this suggested BOB...
...that's right: no scotch! Not a drop! It's mind-boggling, and in Scotland no less. The Scotland Police should be hat-in-hand ashamed to suggest a BOB without one of the most important tools during a SHTF scenario. Hell, in TEOTWAKI I bet one could even trade a pint for a good knife.

first of all, you need to ensure you get to your BOL, so an essential step is your BOV, imho an off road f150 with diesel/cooking oil mod is nearly ideal, as long as you also have a decent dirtbike strapped to the back = D
for INCHAB, (I'm never coming home again)... but the B has me stumped?
simplicity works; a cheap machete, a good fixed blade, good axe and maybe even a truckers friend made out of Ti (if we can convince mecha to conjure one up; )
...just curious, are you watching or reading anything good prepper wise? (I'm assuming you referenced the book by G. Paulsen?)

too much acronyms
Scotch is traditionally stored in a sheep’s bladder that is stored inside the bagpipes. The straw is wrapped around the pipes for easy access. So yes, part of normal EDC. Also, I believe the “seasonal clothing” can just be replaced with a kilt, water can be left out (see Scotxh) and food can be specified as haggis and fried Mars bars (look it up).
Aye!Whoa, just hold your neeps and tatties there, Mr. Ireland. Are you suggesting that the Scottish all prepare a BOB: bug-out bagpipe?![]()
