OK, I admit it, I stole this idea from the Schrade guys but I think it's a good one. Post pictures of your latest Buck acquisition here. I'll go first. This is a mint Buck Mustang 701. That's right, Mustang. They later changed this model's name to Bronco. Either way, it's a hefty stockman. Here's my latest Buck. What's yours?

I can't post pictures because even though I got 2 boxes in the mail today, they both came way after I left for Atlanta. One is my knives I sent to BUCK and the other is a 3102005 with a 310 blade in it. Since technically I just paid for it Thursday and I paid for the 119 from BUCK 3 weeks ago, the 310 knife would be it. I'm gonna have a good SPS when I get back.

Yess, DSS, brass hass his own aspect when it is polished. But I would have a lot to do if I always
try to preserve the surface of my knives shiny. So I make a virtue of necessarity and love the
dark coat of patina even more. ;) :)

Haebbie

By the way: Nice knife you found. Did you buff the Brass by yourself?

Not the latest but the most important knife I bought recently is the 118
I got from Postfallsidaho. Thanks again, Jim, I'm glad that you gave it to me.

Best,
Haebbie

This is always sitting on my desk with 3" soft cotton gun patches. "Cleaner, Polish, & Wax" Leaves a protective coating & they don't seem to retarnish. NEVER use it on the etch, a little silicone there only. Seems to work great on the handles also.

I'm just having fun with ya, I know you leave the patina on your knives. Me, I seem to have the Mothers jar open the moment the knife comes out of the mailbox. I do it sitting at my desk watching TV. It's relaxing. Your knives should last longer though, everytime I polish the brass I'm removing a few atoms..... ;o) /Roger

You've seen this, but it is my latest. I've got plenty of Bucks now, so I'm focusing on special things and won't be posting as much. I just wish DY and WBC would collaborate on BCCI knives every few months ;):D
How 'bout a wolf, an orca, a salmon... (wishful thinking)
