Whats your max size annd weight 4 edc

3.5" and 5 oz. currently.
Carrying the manix 2 now, and it is a little big on my pocket for an office environment.
Switching to a new small sebbie tomorrow.

This is what I carry 90% of the time. Framelocked Super CQC7. It weighs in at 7.1oz and having almost a 4" blade.

I sold a Benchmade 710 and a Zero Tolerance 0300 because they were to large and to heavy for EDC, that was before i checked the reviews on Youtube, now i always compare before i buy.

This is my new edc: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=676061
Perfect size, weight and length for me.

Interesting that you find the 710 too heavy. I personally never notice it even in my jogging shorts.

I personally havent got a knife too heavy. Although bigger folders like zt don't appeal to me so they are probably my limit. I more dislike fat folders than heavy ones as I find these you notice.

4" blade and 6 oz. if in pocket carry. I'll go heavier if I'm using the pocket clip.

I try it keep it 4 ounces or less, but my absolute upper limit would be about 5 ounces. Blade size......anything from 3-4" is fine.

I don't have a size limit but for weight I like to keep within about 4oz. A little over is fine.

Buck 110 in nylon sheath is great for me. Does not feel heavy on belt.

Vinny

I dont usualy carry anything larger than my John Thomas from biological customs.

Sometimes my spyderco purple cobra -2.5 inches maximum...:(

:D

I have no size or weight limits, heck I was walking down the street yesterday with my 13" blade khukuri, a 22" machete and my CKRT M21-04.
I was going to do some trail work thats why the Khukuri, the machete was a freinds and was dropping it off to him after I sharpened it, and the M21 is my current ECD, soon to be replaced by a BM 710. I just like big knives

Like many others, I've EDCd a Buck 110 in my front pocket for a spell. And I think that's as big as I would ever go. Say half a pound and a 4" blade.

These days I'm usually good to go with no more than a 3 1/2 inch blade and no mroe than about 4 ounces.

Folder? Size would definitely be under a 5" blade and under 10 ounces. My ZT 302 is probably the biggest folder I'd be willing to EDC.

Fixed Blade? The RC Izula is the only FB I EDC, so blades around that size and weight are nice. Maybe RC-3 size is as big as I'd go for an EDC FB on my person. If I'm in the wilderness then it doesn't really matter, well I'm not going to be carrying anything the size of a katana (unless I need to fight off the feral mall ninjas in the wilderness).

The bigger the better. I like large folders (Camillus Max, REKAT Sifu, Cold Steel Vaquero Grande, Buck Strider) and Have you seen the new Cold Steel Raja that thing is a monster

I also have no limit. The heaviest folder I have carried is the CS Rajah II at 12.7 ounces, but my normal carry for the past few months has been either a ZT0205 at 7.7 ounces, or A G-10 Tyrade at 6.7 ounces, both of which are no problem for me. As far as blade length the CS Rajah is 6.0" in length, but normally it will be around the 4" length. I always carry two knives with me, the second being a small knife that has a sub 3" blade(s), with a weight under 4 ounces. Currently that niche is filled with a Spyderco Persistence that has a 2.75" blade and a weight of 3.3 ounces. This knife feels and cuts larger than the specs would indicate!:D

I prefer a 2.75 to 3.25 inch blade, but will carry as much as four inches if I like the knife. But like I've said before, the size of the handle is a lot more important to me than the size of the blade. The handle has to be comfortable no matter how much blade is closed into it.

For me, weight isn't as much of an issue because I don't carry much else. Wallet, two knives and a cellphone are all that I usually have in my pockets, so a heavy knife isn't a big deal.

That said, I'd like to keep it as light as possible.

With all that taken into account, the Paramilitary is probably the closest to perfect knife I've ever owned.
