Recently I bought a few of what I consider none traditional folding knives. I bought a Kershaw speed Bump, and a Spyderco Barong. Also I've started to carry my Rekat sifu . I know they aren't the most extreme oddities, But definitely different. So, What is your most unique knife? Or what ones out there do you think are most outside the box?

When I think of unique and out of the box thinking G&G Hawk knives come to mind.

I used to have a TOPS Tom Brown Tracker — pretty much the most bizarre contraption I've ever had.

I have a display version of an E.T. and I really can't think of too many good quality knives that are stranger than that one!

I also have a super tiny vintage gravity knife (1" blade) of the kind that used to be sold for folks to sharpen their pencils with way back in the day.

I've got two I'd consider unique:

An AU Lion 1918 Trench knife

And a handmade oddball from the Phillipines. My granddad brought it back from the Pacific Theater. He told me he traded an old man a pair of American pants for it.

I have a switchblade shaped like Dumbo the elephant. Does that count? :D
That's a little el-cheapo flea market knife though. The weirdest quality knife I have- maybe my Busse Scotch Dispenser?

(not my image, sorry to whomever I jacked it from)

I have the sage version. Those things may be ugly, but they are useless!

Mine is not so much odd, but is the most unique I have in my collection. I have a Schrade Walden push button from the late 1940's. I snapped it up quickly at an estate sale, a couple of drops of oil, and the knife works fine. Enjoy getting it out every once and awhile and handling it. :thumbup:Dale

I have a 20" HI Kukri with an engraved blade. I usually don't go for that sort of thing but it was just beautiful and I HAD to buy it when it was a deal of the day on the forums.

RXEnergy, your collection looks like something a Borg would have!

My strangest is a waved and double edged G10 Police. It is a single purpose knife that will likely break when used as directed. Much like the Civilian.

Way back when, I visted Lourdes France. You know the place, drink the water, get a lottery ticket on being cured of what ails you. Along the main road there were hundreds of little shops, wall to wall, that sold tourist junk. Checking out one of these shops I saw the biggest switchblade I've ever seen. The blade was about nine inches. The name Lourdes was cheaply engraved large on the face of the blade. Strangest knife I've ever seen.

Here's a strange one I picked up on eBay a few years back. My guess is that it's of Mexican origin, or perhaps Filipino, but I'm not

Well this is strange for me. Posted in the General Forum. Small boot knife that locks into a push dagger.

I have a few I would consider unique first being a benchmade 145 CUB with a Satin 440c blade only 150 of these were made... I would consider my early model benchmade 720 Unique because it came from the factory with a tip down with the clip mounted at the end of the blade where the AXIS lock is.. All other variations I have seen are tip up, I was advised by a benchmade rep that when first introduced they were offered with tip and tip down but later changed it..
