What is the most expensive custom EDC that you carry and actually use? What is your upper price limit for an EDC knife?

Zombie,
Mine is a Black DDR Gunhammer MG w/tritium inserts....about $850.00.
What's yours...???

Im still fairly new to customs, and so far have not broken the $200.00 mark.

This EDC neck knife from Scott at Gossman Knives was just a hair under that, so it is the most expensive I use.

Buffao Horn and D2.

I regularly carry my Sawby Mini Combat Utility - $600-ish when I got it. I have two more on order which will approach $900.

The price tag is not the limiting factor, it is just the knife I settled on. If it cost more, I would still carry them.

I have a few more expensive (at least for me) in my EDC rotation. Just to mention a few: a $750 Terzuola Model 7 my fiance bought me. Also a small Mayo TNT (Talonite, maybe $5-600?), an Emerson CQC-5 (new from Ernie $550, otherwise near double that), a 2006 small classic Sebenza (one of the annual ones $550). Of course just like driving a car off the lot, once you put the knife in your pocket it's usualy worth less. A couple of years ago I decided that I have too many (what I consider) 'nice" knives in my collection and I've got to carry some of these "safe queens". What's the point of having so many if you never enjoy any?

Currently, I carry an Al Warren 2 7/8" pocket knife with a 2 1/8" drop point blade of S30V, nickle silver bolster, and ironwood scales. $260.

I have a larger version of this knife with a Devin Thomas ladder damascus blade and blue mammoth ivory scales on order. This will be my EDC knife. $455.

What about you 'Zombie? You started this thread, but didn't answer.

Well, I just got a $500 RJ Martin Devistator, but I'm a little hesitant to carry it. Prior to that, my most expensive custom EDC was a $225 Tom Krein TK8. $225 to $500 is a big jump, and I wanted to see what everyone else was carrying so I didn't feel so bad!

My most expensive knife that I EDC and do use is a Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper "Gecko" knife, it was $700+. Use your Devastator!! That is was it was made for.

Fixed Blade: J.L. Rodebaugh 3 3/4" damascus Bird and Trout with stag handle.
Folder: Flavio Ikoma 4" drop point tactical linerlock with black micarta scales.
I have had both of these knives for quite a few years. I picked them up at one of the Blade Shows. Price from what I can remember was a little less than $400 for the Rodebaugh and a little less than $300 for the Ikoma.

I started carrying it today actually. I don't feel so bad now knowing that some people actually use their expensive knives.

I've got 10 or so folding knives over 400, highest is 850. I carry them all. I use but don't abuse them. I bought them because I like to carry a nice knife. None of them will be worth what I paid, because I used them. It doesn't bother me a bit.:)

Gene Ingram SLK 2 in D2 , stag scales and black liners $ 200 bucks use it everyday for three months havn't had to sharpen it yet.

Ohta single blade hunter, $475
