What's your most expensive knife?

That's not happening again.* :D

*Anything's possible*

*No fuckin' way

Where's my magic 8 ball, ahh, there it is. Oh great mystical, magical 8 ball, will Sam make another?

Let me ask again. Oh great mystical, magical 8 ball, will Sam make another?

I give up, you broke my 8 ball.

As far as most expensive knife? I'm a cheapskate and try to always get the most bang for my buck and a lot of the knives i own are far more "valuable" than what I paid for them.

I have a few vintage blades over a 100 years old and even one from the mid 1800s custom mother of which I value at way more than the $10 i got it for. Yea, this question is more complicated than I expected so I suspect I won't be able to accurately answer this question.

I will say this though, anyone expecting to go into knife collecting to make a living, good luck and start buying lottery tickets, you'll have much better odds. Lol :D

Oh my most valuable knife? A handmade mother of pearl sleeveboard lobster made by the father of the western European knife industry also famous for the well known fish knife of the area, Josef Szyraki.

Howdy all. First post. Love lurking through here. My most expensive is my ZT0450. I’ve always limited myself to $200, but you guys(& gals) are making things very difficult on me.

Resistance is futile!

By the way, welcome aboard. Hang around, you’re among friends.

For me, my most expensive knife is my Hinderer XM-18 3.5 G6 M390 Spanto. I paid retail and then added a solid titanium scale, MXG deep carry clip, and a stamped filler tab. I'm in the hole at about $700, but I love the damn thing! Feels almost medieval with it's weight (6.36 oz.), robust spanto blade, and rugged overbuild.

CPK Behemother (top one in pic) is the most that I've paid for a knife, and may be the most valuable. But also have a Cold Steel Arc Angel balisong that could possibly be worth more, but not really sure.

You could spot one of his knives from across the room in the pitch black dark on a misty/foggy day.

I only have one, a drop point hunter with Osage Scales he gave me before he got so busy with his bread and butter. Some day I’ll get one of Nathan’s choppers or field knives. If the speed with which I got my Randall made knife is any indication of when I can afford one of Nathan’s knives on my own...

Well let’s just say, I’m still waitin’ till I can afford to get me a Randall. :) (~);-}

#621 sold on Arizona Custom Knives for $1000 last year but it didn't have the holster and box/papers.
