What's your most favorite wood that H.I. uses??

Being an avid whittler, I would love to get a hold of some small blocks of each of the respective woods and try my hand at how they carve. In the meantime, I still have to get an example of the kami's carving. A garud AK has been on my list for a while but keeps getting bumped down. I like those carved sheaths that come in once in a while too.

If you bug me, Bob, I'll ask Gelbu to try to get some pix of the carvers at work. He probably doesn't have time to deal with it but we can ask.

Uncle Bill:

If Gelbu can possibly get pics, they would be appreciated. Inquiring Woodchucks want to know :)

Another service I can provide to BirGhorka... official khuk photographer... will shoot for rice :D

Al:

Considering your current situation, that would be a raise. A goat roast now and then would bea bonus:)

Uncle Bill - Khuks, Khuks. I'll just look the carvings and use my imagination.:(

Khuks with carvings! That is what I want. Pics are fine, but seeing the work up close says a lot more.

One of Uncle Bill's saying is: A picture is worth a thousand words but the real thing is worth a million pictures.
