What's your most favourite Emerson?

Combat karambit hands down is the best EDC i can think of that works under the 3 inch blade law. Which is bull shit btw. But if it werent for that id like the commander-Hd the best never got to handle an hd model but i love the commander so the hd model must rock.

My CQC-8 that arrived yesterday. I can't even wave it open, so I just and sit and open it.(I just had some surgery, can't wear pants yet. :( )

I can't decide whether or not I like the CQC-7 or the SOCFK better. On the one hand, the CQC-7 is slightly cheaper, but the SOCFK has a much more comfortable handle contour in my opinion.

Death's head, I think I found somewhere to pick up the HD-7 for around $200... which is about what you stated you paid for yours...

What are your thoughts on it, since you've had it a while now?

I'm thinking right now... CQC 7 Waved- $110, Mini Commanders $115, HD-7 $200, and I'd be one happy guy...

$200 is a great price. I bought mine one sale which was priced below cost. I honestly feel that it is the best Emerson I ever handled. I haven't handled the CQC-12 TiHD which the handle is entirely made of titanium. But for less than half the price of a CQC-12 TiHD, I am not complaining.
In other words, I highly recommend the HD-7

My problem is making sure my knives are OK in every jurisdiction I tend to spend alot of time in.... With my CCW I tend to be covered, but where my folks live, its 3.5 inches for an ordinary knife, and the CCW is only for Pistol in that state.


Hence my options being the CQC-7, HD-7, and Mini-Commander, without incurring trouble. The Mom doesn't like the Firearms in her house, so I'm limited to my Kermabit mostly.
 
My only Emerson is a Super CQC7. I love it.

But I have handled a normal CQC7 at Plaza Cutlery and it fit my hand a little better.

I also really want an Emerson folding Karambit and a Comrade. I think I may prefer either of them to my Super CQC7.
 
I would have to say my first, a Commander plain blade black finish. Next on my list to own is a Mini CQC-7A. I swear these things are like Pringles, Once you pop you can't stop....:) :)
 
sorry idiot relapse, I should have said, Mini CQC-7B...unless of course I stumble on a mini 7A....
 
MY combat karambit. I am in a place with a bullshit under 3 inch law, so my karambit is with me always. I also just love my super-7.
