What's your "next"?

I am still trying to save for a Box Elder Burl Mnandi. I might be able to get one in Jan 2018. Yeah :)

It sounds weird for me to say it, but I don't know if I have a "next." I'm at a point where I feel like I have all my needs covered and I'm actually getting rid of stuff.

Mulling the old Sebbie 21 but can't decide between the regular or the carbon fiber scaled one. Anyone have any opinions?

I (my opinion) would skip the plain and go with Micarta. I can't bring myself to use the CF inlay for everyday carry. The satin blade and scales with the CF inlay are too pristine for use, more suitable for showing off, than use as a pocket tool. The Micarta, if not in my pocket, is in my bag at all times. I'd rather use my Damasnakewood Sebenza than risk marring the CF inlay, polished blade.

edit: You didn't say CF inlay did you. I should read more carefully. I can't decide between your options....it would be a toss up for me. I'd probably go CF, I think.

Right now I am just trying to figure if I want another fixed blade or another folder.

I have assembled a badass team of ten knives that spell the forseeable end to my knife purchasing.

However there is one gap left which I am hoping Andrew Demko himself can fill: the Custom.

I want one custom knife. But I want one that I'll be able to bring myself to use and Demko's gentleman's tank style poses the perfect solution.

But I'unno. We'll see...

I think the spyderco military in S110V or chinook 4 or police 4.

It always seems to happen this way, I try to hold off a bit, but something always changes that...
I didn't plan on getting much this year, considering I already spent the last three months out on disability. Back to work now and I have a few things lined up.

- Custom JK Knives Improved Friction Folder

- Lionsteel Rambler (a slip joint with M390, Ti Liners/Bolster and White Carbon fiber slabs and a clip point)

- Busse Mystery Bag and a Park Ranger

Looks like next year might be the one where I slow down...

Next one? Nothing on the radar this week. There are a couple I would like to handle though and that usually means I buy at least one of them. I have tried to slow down on knife buying. Last purchases were in April 2017. I'm just starting to see how pointless it is sometimes always looking for the next one. I'm pretty satisfied with what I already own. But I do like impulse buys.

Hope to attend Manufacturers Weekend at the big knife store in East TN in about a month. Believe there is a knife show also about that time too. So, more than likely,I won't be buying anything for about a month or so.
Was wondering where and when the the manufacturers weekend is also the show. Thanks, I'm in Knoxville

I'm waiting on Chris Reeves Knives to release more Inkosi Insigno Larges with black micarta inlays. I think one of those is an auto-buy.

Thought I knew but then I saw a review of the Slimfoot by Arcform and boy I am drooling for it. Til then it was a CRK Insingo of some kind.

got a boos blades smoke on pre-order and considering a leftie 'Zaan soon...depending on if i have any cash or not...

Bradford Guardian3 in OD Micarta with full flat grind should be here tomorrow. Gonna keep it in my work bag/glove box since I can't walk the streets of NJ with it on my belt.

well my next one is pure knife pleasure, nothing I need or I have a real use for, and it's nothing from another world.
It's the Spyderco Fish Hunter, that I want to complete (together with the Jumpmaster 2, second on my "To get" list) my Salt collection of H1 knives, my favorite series from the Spyderco catalog
