What's your opinion on this unusual knife

Very cool - that's for sure!

But can it work? It looks like it has a vicious belly - but no guard makes me worried...

Probably wouldn't carry it as my primary knife - but would love to have one for collecting purposes...

Dimity - shouldn’t the guy in the pictures be wearing a blue and white striped shirt???

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Cool looking knive, to add to a collection.

Just curious... What concentration camp were the photos taken in? : )

Geez
with a set of arms like that . The guy in the pictures does not need a knife he could just beat a MFer to death. the knife looked pretty cool though. I loved the Damascus steel.

little knifer and others. Read again, it is a slasher/cutter and in my opinion (as well as others) chopper. Negative on the thrusting. No need for a guard, or pointier tip.

FolderVSfixed, olease take a look at the URL provided by Dimitry:

You see, this is not a slasher/cutter type of grip. IMHO for efficient sllashing with this edge geometry you need at least twice this blade length, something like a real kukuri. If you read the Russian text it is obvious that the point is intented for use too.
Just my $ 0.02 (right now it is worth more than 0.02 Russian Rubels)
