what's your opinion on this?

You should laugh hysterically at the thought of idiots edc'ing that POS in their pocket, with no idea what it's good for.

Someone else linked to this thing not too long ago. General consensus was that it was a total waste of money(and also a copy of a custom knife, which was likely an even bigger waste of money).

The Warren Thomas designed EDA (Every Day Axe) is a novel folding ax

It's just for fun, oh and I though this was interesting:
The desert tan G-10 handle has a steel frame lock back

It really looks like a frame lock to me in the picture. It's not like BHQ to put up misleading information.

I agree with everyone else that it would be a waste of money and wouldn't really serve a real purpose. Just get a real axe where it doesn't have a lock to fail. Also says it's best use is for everyday carry...I don't think anyone would really carry that...would they?

It's really lightweight and obviously not as sturdy as a normal hatchet. The only thing I could see this being used for is trimming small branches.

I imagine it's absolutely useless for processing firewood, and a big knife or machete would clear branches more effectively anyway. It's also got to be pretty crappy at breaching and other "tactical" purposes. I think the only thing it's good at is being small and light.

You couldn't pay me to carry that POS.

Probably someone waiting for the day that the Zombie herd comes knocking on the front door. Oh hey wait... thats me  :D

Ha!

Yeah someone else linked this not too long ago.

I think the conclusion was that it would be great for scraping peanut butter from the bottom of the jar.
