What's Your Pleasure? Update - With New Knife

Thanks for the comments guys - it looks like we’re all over the board on the configuration of this knife. There’s no clear winner here. I do like the idea of a double guard for this knife with a thinner spacer.

The wider one, because it gives the knife a visual clue of strength. Being sold as Combat / Utility knife.

I favor the top (original) version as it is different from most guards and the rope work is a nice artistic touch.
The most difficult part of trying to ever get one of your knives is that I think I could have one for every day of the week in a year and they would all be different and then I would need a bigger home also to display them.
Maybe someday you could setup a gallery of all the different knives you have created and shown here as I am sure it would be some wonderful browsing time of great knives. Let see if you could do 365 different knives.

Thanks Murray - appreciate the feedback. In retrospect, I guess I do make a lot of different knives, but as they say: "Variety is the spice of life." Since we men can't have more than one wife anymore, more than one knife is a suitable alternative. If you check out my website, there's a pretty representative sample of what I make.

This has been an interesting, informative thread for me. Lots of good input from you all.

This knife has the same profile, but instead of a hollow ground combat/utility, this one's a flat ground hunter. I like the guard treatment on this one better than the rope file guard. The spacer is coined, heat blued stainless, stabilized black ash burl handle. What's your pleasure now gents? :)

Someone mentioned a small double guard, I think that may look pretty nice.
