With countless EDC threads over the last 15+ years (and some really great ones at that) add to that a recent post in general asking "...why so much?" referring to why people spend so much on knives, I've decided to try a different approach by bringing these two frequently asked questions together and maybe it'll explain why based on their other carry items they spend x amount $ on knives and I'm just curious how much your pocket are worth?
So what's your pockets worth, if you could sell everything you carry, not including money or credit cards, (jewelry, watches, sunglasses, (not prescription glasses) are alright) how much is the contents of your pockets worth, descriptions required, photos appreciated.

That's a mortgage payment, I could buy a decent used car for that, a really nice motorcycle or a couple of nice dirt bikes.
We all carry a lot of stuff, when you start to total it up you realize how much you have, I used to do this mental inventory in my truck/car all the time and it used to amaze me between tools, laptop, stereo and assorted knives and fire arms, GPS etc, it wasn't unusual for the contents to far out exceed the value of the vehicle.
I know there are plenty of you out there including pens and lights and lighters are into $4000-$6000+ range so if you got what you paid for all your EDC on any given day how much would it total?
