See what you can do with no outside distractions Matt? ;) when I was single I had lots of really nice stuff, no I have to be more selective, truck needs a transmission, $600-$2000 Ted wants a new custom, how bad does Ted want a knife? How bad does Ted want to have a reverse far again? In the man time I need to fix my bike, the furnace needs some parts for next year, the fire place needs a new grate and the fire brick needs some work.

Enjoy it Matt with the new house, filling it with furniture, your shop with tools and getting a vehicle now, when you get the new knife itch you'll either have to wait or make it yourself. ;)

BTW the DR is gorgeous....

Thanks! Already talking to Darrel about the next one.

I don't know...if I carry one of my mint Colt M1911, circa 1935, and wear my newly restored and stowed away in the safe Rolex Submariner I bought in the Saigon PX in 1969 for $270.00, in today's dollars, I would say $20,000.00, maybe more; and that's not counting the cash in my wallet, the pocket tools/knives, the wedding band, the college ring, etc.;)

Yes, the Submariner lettering is in red. It's funny, I had no idea of the value of these small details. Getting a Rolex while in country was a real chore, considering the each PX only got one or two each month, and the flag officers were first to know. Thankfully, I had an uncle who was a full bird working at MACV and he was able to snare me one.

Yup. I have a Sub and a Deepsea. The thing about Rolex is the price always goes up. I bought my Sub used for $4500 and my Deepsea new for $10,100. If I waited, I would have to pay more.
